Mina Kumar

Mina brings extensive experience developing revenue-generating strategies for non-profits, strategies and metrics for mission-driven organizations, and a track record of working in entrepreneurial environments. Most recently, Mina developed a business plan for mixed-use affordable housing, retail services, and fee-based therapy programs for a non-profit provider of transitional housing and emergency services for battered women and their children. She also designed an economic mobility model for ShoreBank, a community economic development and environmental bank, to track socio-economic progress of its clients and target neighborhoods, measure mission fulfillment, and improve accountability and governance.

Mina has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where she majored in finance, and received the "top student" award in the nonprofit/public management program. Prior to business school, Mina was responsible for new book acquisitions and business development at Hong Kong University Press, a non-profit academic publisher dedicated to preserving and promoting regional scholarship and culture. She has a BA from Princeton University, where she graduated with honors.
