MunchBusters…fighting hunger with gourmet meals!

In their former life, they owned a small roadside diner. They were all working late on a secret recipe with a mystical herb recently discovered by archeologists. A robbery by the group known as “The Munchies” turned tragic. A grease fire unwittingly set by “The Munchies” quickly spread, trapping the three owners and igniting the mystical herbs. They lost their life’s work, but miraculously all survived. Each, however, noticed that their senses were heightened beyond comprehension. At first it was difficult, but they learned to use their new powers to their advantage. They realized their collective power and united to fight world hunger and further transgressions by their nemesis, “The Munchies”.
OCULUS has SUPER VISION and SMELL. He can hunt
for truffles better than any trained pig. He can spot a Wagyu cow from
a mile away. Not only does he forage for food, he ensures that presentation
of a dish is perfect before being served. His super towel can clean up
messes in a nanosecond.
AURA is blind, but has SUPER HEARING. She can hear the great stomach
rumblings of hunger from halfway around the world. She can hear the hunger
pangs of those facing empty refrigerators at midnight to the mid-afternoon
snackers facing empty vending machines. She has an internal GPS that can
guide her team to any part of the world.
EDGE has SUPER TASTE and TOUCH. He can prepare a gourmet meal with
just a dozen eggs and a couple of porcini mushrooms to feed thousands.
He can calculate the internal temperature of a lamb shank or a quail just
by touch. He can tell where a tomato has been grown and whether it’s
really organic just by taste. His right arm has 3 retractable knives –
paring knife, butcher’s knife, and a santoku knife.
They all have ESP. This is how they communicate in times of danger or emergency.
